Smoothstar welcomes all to the new year with a new blog. I'll be posting tips and tricks so we can all catch bigger fish, live more graciously, watch more TV, whatnot and all the stuff that makes life more fabulous. I wanna be the Gwenyth of upstate NY. I'll be sharing eel recipes passed down from some grandmother, yardsale strategies of the stars, fashion finds and faux pas, advice to the lovelorn and more.
Here's a new years fun tip. At a loss for what to do tonight? Start a big fire out in the yard. If you have works, blow 'em off. If you have fun stuff to burn ,like old furniture ,(I have some old sombreros) burn it. Who don't like a good bonfire? I gotta go uncover my scrap wood pile and get ready for firey hot new year.

Great Ideas Dave...I'll stay tuned. I am particularly interested in the eel recipes from some grandmother...I mean...Is she YOUR grandmother? Or just some homeless woman whom you figured must be somebody's grandmother? Either way...I have never tried eel, and I am curious....best of luck with the blog...It was one of my New Years resolutions to start one, but I didn't get the official first day jump on it like you did...Kudos...and best wishes to you and your family!

ReplyDeleteblowing shit up and burning the rest of it down. now, that's how to start a blog, and a new year! i would start one my self dave, but the word blogging sounds painful. also tweeting. tweeting and blogging don't sound like comfortable things to do. your next post could be about how a ducati sport classic 1000 out-sexed olivia wilde in the remake of tron.
